Ridgeway Residential Home strives to preserve and maintain dignity, individuality and privacy within a caring environment. We are sensitive to changing needs which may be medical, therapeutic, cultural, psychological, spiritual, emotional, sexual or social. Residents are encouraged to participate in the formulation of their individual care plans. Family members are invited to review care plans with the manager and resident with consent, or in the best interest of residents.

Our quality assurance processes are rigorous. We incorporate our feedback sought through discussion, meetings and questionnaires from a combination of residents, staff and professionals and have formal auditing processes that are reviewed and actioned.

We offer a wide spread activity programme that includes armchair ballet and Karaoke (!) as well as a number of activities that vary with the seasons. We have a foot spa for that extra pampering and a priority is supporting the interests and lifestyles of our residents.

All staff participate in regular fire training. Equipment and infection control processes are monitored and audited and Ridgeway’s policies and processes are followed.

A contract will be issued outlining terms of business.
